ANTI- SUICIDE SEMINAR CAUSES FRENZY 2015

It was a great turn around for the young teens who attended our anti-suicide and success campaign that was held in St. Anne’s PU College  located in Ulsoor on the 16th of January 2015. We witnessed an attendance of 590 students who were very excited and thrilled.

“YOU ARE INTELLIGENT” FLABBERGASTS THE AUDIENCE!

The international speaker; Edmonds Owhorode who is also the president; stirred up the atmosphere as he took up the first session for one and half hour. He started by presenting a suicide note written by a woman and explained how she was successfully saved and today she lives a suicide free life with her family.

He gave live demonstrations of how to understand and focus on the positive side of life and overcome the challenges that youngsters today face and hastily decide to take their precious life .He taught how human beings are born intelligent and how they can operate in that reality! He made motivating and encouraging statements like “DON’T COMMIT SUICIDE BECAUSE OF A RELATIONSHIP,” SUCCESS IS TRAPPED IN EVERY INDIVIDUAL”,”EVERY LIVING THING IS INTELLIGENT!”

YOUNG MINDS WERE STRAIGHTENED TO HAVE THE RIGHT AND STRONG MINDSET!

Right after a wonderful skit on how a failure can become a success was performed by our Anti-Suicide team International speaker; Joanna Owhorode took up the second session of the seminar for 45 minutes. She made the students clearly understand stating her own life examples of how one’s mindset is made up and wrongly affected because of people, culture and place where we live.  

Practical workshop was conducted where the students were made to realize the kind of mindset they have and how they can overcome the weaknesses of their mindset and develop the right and strong mindset that leads them to a suicide free and successful life.

“NO QUESTIONS PLEASE! WE HAVE UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING”

We were amazed to see that not one student had questions to ask; instead many came and appreciated how the seminar transformed their lives including the lecturers of the college. This has never happened in our seminar before. The Place was filled with so much of energy and excitement to the extent that students got uncontrollable at one point. To prove what the students expressed was true….all their feedback forms clearly showed that many had questions but this seminar answered it all and changed their very concept of life!
